Three German shipyards have joined forces in an effort to increase capacity.
BREDO and Mutzelfeldwerft will be added to the German Dry Docks (GDD) umbrella from the start of February.
The main aim of the project is "to harmonise business segments with cross-site planning", with the yards each keeping their present brand names.
Guido Forsterling of GDD and BREDO’s Dick Harms will jointly manage the three locations.
