China’s Fortune Ocean Shipping is back at Tianjin Xingang Shipbuilding for more kamsarmax bulker newbuildings.
The Dalian-based shipowner, which inked four 82,000-dwt newbuildings last year, has doubled the number of vessels on order at the yard to eight.
One shipbuilding source said two of the latest four newbuildings were optional units that Fortune Ocean held when it booked the original quartet of kamsarmaxes last summer.
