Fairfield Chemical Carriers is renewing its stainless-steel chemical tanker fleet with an order for six newbuildings at Fukuoka Shipbuilding.
Fairfield has signed up for two 25,000-dwt and four 19,900-dwt newbuildings at the Japanese shipyard.
The company is scheduled to take delivery of the larger tankers in 2022, three of the smaller ships in 2021 and the remaining one in 2022.
