DSME has continued its efforts to monetise assets with the sale of a ship architecture division.
The South Korean shipbuilder is disposing of DSEC for KRW 70bn ($58.1m), a statement confirmed.
DSME has been mulling the sale of the subsidiary for the past few months and hired law and accounting firms to oversee the sale process in mid-August.
DSEC won a $116m contract for a ro-ro pair ordered by Matson and built at General Dynamics Nassco earlier this year.
