Diana Shipping cancelled a bulker newbuilding at Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group's Dayang Shipbuilding.
The move was revealed as sister company Diana Containerships sold a containership for demolition.
The New York-listed shipowner blamed the cancellation on delays at the Chinese yard (pictured below), where the 82,000-dwt kamsarmax passed the 150-day mark after the originally contracted delivery date.
