China's Desail Offshore & Marine Engineering has reportedly inked a ro-ro newbuilding at Bohai Shipbuilding.
The 8,500-dwt ship will be delivered in 2020, Clarksons said.
No price was given for the vessel.
Bohai is known more as a tanker and bulker specialist.
Desail was established in 2002.
It is not listed as owning any other ships.
