Deltamarin, AVIC International Maritime's ship-design shop, will provide consultancy and engineering services for two ro-pax ferries ordered by Finnish ferry owner DFDS.
The Finnish designer, which drew the ropaxes' design concept, signed a EUR 5m ($6.2m) contract with Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) of China to offer its expertise over 13 months.
The work will be done at its offices in in Finland and China with help from European network companies, Deltamarin said.
