The China Securities Regulatory Commission has opened an investigation into possible disclosure violations by the CSSC shipbuilding group.
According to local reports, the probe involves a series of questions that the commission has raised over an increase in reported impairment losses in CSSC’s 2022 accounts.
The impairment losses were incurred despite an increase in shipbuilding prices and falling steel prices.
