Newbuilding prices are still heading up, even as order volumes declines, according to Clarksons Research.
The research arm of UK shipbroker Clarksons said the cost of a new 174,000-cbm LNG carrier stood at $218m at the end of February, up 16% in a year.
A new 6,600-teu container ship will set an owner back $83.5m, up 13% year on year.
