Turkey’s Besiktas Shipyard is taking delivery of a large floating dock that travelled 54 days from Singapore through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal to the Sea of Marmara.
The 345-metre long and 90-metre wide Dourado is the biggest-ever floating unit to be towed through the Egyptian waterway, in a complex 24-hour operation, according to the Suez Canal Authority (SCA).
