Restructuring ABG Shipyard of India is facing a police investigation into the non-payment of a loan to Standard Chartered.
The Economic Times reported that the Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in Bandra has asked Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla police station to examine the matter after the bank filed a complaint of criminal conspiracy.
"This complaint is necessary to be investigated by the police,” magistrate Vishwas Mane wrote in a court order.
