Shipbroker Lightship Chartering has opened a new office in Santiago, Chile, which it hopes will employ up to six people.
The new office will continue Lightship’s growth spurt from the past few months, during which the group has launched a new derivatives venture in Dubai and reopened its Genoa office.
The group, which is headquartered in Geneva, has hired Alvaro Martinez as its manager for West Coast South America.
