Howe Robinson moves into US dry market with BBT Tradeships takeover

UK shipbroker Howe Robinson Partners (HRP) is expanding into the US dry cargo market with the takeover of New Jersey shop BBT Tradeships.

The business was merged on 1 November, forming a company called Howe Robinson Partners NY.

BBT has been one of New York’s premier shipbroking houses for over 35 years, HRP said.

"The well-respected team bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge," it added.
