Grieg Shipbrokers' gas carrier division is swallowing up a fellow Norwegian brokerage as it continues its expansion in the sector.
The company has taken over Xenon Shipbroking, controlled by industry veteran Jan Krister Platou.
The move adds two brokers to the Grieg gas shipping team: Platou and his son Jan Rasmus, who has been with the firm since 2016.
Xenon started in 1992 with six shipbrokers who had left Stemoco Shipping.
