Shipbroker SSY has carried out what it claims is the biggest-ever iron ore futures trade.
The London-headquartered shop said the SSY Futures commodities division rolled a 5m-tonne position from a 2023 prompt date into 2024, generating a total futures volume of 10m tonnes.
The trade involved counterparties from both the physical and financial markets.
