Shipbroking veteran Wilhelm Holst has been named chief executive of Norwegian shipbroking firm Lorentzen & Stemoco (L&S), taking over from Caroline Figenschou Tidemand.
“Caroline and the Tidemand family remain very committed to L&S,” Holst, 60, told TradeWinds as he revealed his appointment.
And he hinted that it was their commitment to tight cost control that was key to him last year accepting the role as head of global shipbroking at the privately owned company.
