Diversified South American owner Ultrapetrol may be on the hunt for bulker tonnage despite a freshly minted deal to shed its last drybulk carrier.
Speaking at Jefferies' annual shipping and logistics conference in New York, chief executive Felipe Menendez said: "Interesting opportunities lie ahead for acquisitions of bulk vessels in light of the current orderbook situation."
