The Seoul-listed shipbuilder will net KRW 113.2bn ($103m) for the three containerships, it said today in a regulatory filing.
All three will be handed over in August 2015, the company added without going into further detail.
A price of $34.4m each implies an order for vessels of around 3,000-teu in size.
Hyundai Mipo’s orderbook stretches to 137 ships according to Clarksons, only seven of which are boxships.
