Vietnamese bulker owner Tan Binh has made its first bulker purchase of the year, taking a handysize from the fleet of Taiwan’s Shih Wei Navigation.
Tan Binh sources confirmed the company has acquired Shih Wei’s 23,500-dwt Luxury SW (built 1999).
The vessel has been promptly delivered to the company and has been renamed Tan Binh 236. Brokers report that Tan Binh paid $4.2m
