Protesting French workers have blockaded the gates of the STX France shipyard in Saint-Nazaire.
Le Figaro said 600 employees of STX and Airbus were organised during the protest on Thursday by the CGT union.
The protesters also included port agency, dockers and railway workers, according to police.
Trucks and other vehicles were prevented from entering the site.
France has been gripped by strikes after it tried to introduce new labour laws.
