In a filing with the Oslo bourse Siem Shipping pointed out that the 521,700-cbf Chile Starand Uruguay Star (both built 1993) are also among its smallest.
While the duo commanded $5m a piece the operator warned investors that the sale will likely result in a book loss of approximately $2.2m in total.
Siem noted that the Chile Star is scheduled to change hands later this week.
