Japan’s Shin Nihonkai Ferry has returned to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ Shimonoseki yard for a second new ro-pax.
Brokers said it has signed up for a 14,400-gt vessel to carry 600 people.
No price was revealed, but delivery is set for June 2017.
The yard is building a sistership called Lavender for the owner. This is due for hand-over in March of next year.
