The New York-listed shipowner’s subsidiary Seabulk Tankers willtake delivery of the 50,000-dwt units in the second quarter of 2016 and firstquarter of 2017, it said today in a statement.

Jones Act carrier Seacor did not reveal a price for theLNG-conversion-ready carriers but they are of the same design as the four unitsordered by American Petroleum Tankers (APT) in May.

Those vessels, due to be handed over in 2015 and 2016, arethought to have cost around $125m apiece.
