Russian gas producer Novatek is planning to build a new shipyard near Murmansk.
The facility will construct “large-capacity structures” from 2017, the Murmansk regional government said in a press release.
"The project is in the pre-investment phase: an investment rationale should be ready by the end of this year. In a favourable turn of events work on the yard could begin as early as next year," the statement added.
