The New York-listed company expects to take delivery of the JonesAct compliant unit in the first quarter of 2016, it announced today.
Houston-based Oceaneering did not say how much it will pay forthe 353 feet (107 metre) vessel which will be deployed in the ultra-deep watersof the US Gulf of Mexico (GOM) to carry out subsea intervention services.
The unit will be equipped with class 2 dynamic positioning,accommodation for 110 personnel, a helideck, a 250-ton crane, a workingmoonpool and a pair of remotely operated vehicles (ROV).
