The National Shipping Co of Saudi Arabia has hatched an order for up to six specialised general cargoships at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
The Saudi owner is in the hunt for financing for the vast majority of over $400m needed to fund the order which includes two options.
Four firm units of 26,000-dwt were signed for at the Korean yard on Sunday with a per-ship price tag of $68.57m.
