The latest suezmaxes sold by Nordic American Tankers are headed for demolition, demolition brokers said.
The transactions also represent a change in strategy for the New York-listed owner's older ships, as all three vessels were taken through special survey last year.
The Herbjorn Hansson-led company said this week that it sold three 1997-built vessels that it did not identify, but they are apparently the 149,000-dwt Nordic Voyager, the 151,000-dwt Nordic Hawk and the 149,000-dwt Nordic Hunter.
