Capesize chartering veteran Jian Rui has hopped from Everest Shipping to Cara Shipping, the dry bulk shop of China’s Rizhao Steel.
Singapore’s Cara, which sold four of its oldest capesizes to Sinokor Merchant Marine in the summer, has about 30 ships under its control.
That could change under its new leader, who aims to grow the company’s role as a capesize operator.
