Two 4,000 passenger vessels are being ordered by Norwegian Cruise Line at a cost of some Eur 1.2bn ($1.7bn) from Meyer Werft.
NCL is returning to its favourite yard for the 143,500-gt cruiseships.
The first of the duo is scheduled for delivery in spring 2013 and the second exactly a year later.
The cruise line which has 11 ships in service has built seven previous vessels at Meyer Werft’s Papenburg yard.
