The US sale-and-purchase broker claims the vessel will be torched in Bangladesh where bulkers sold for scrap are commanding between $450 and $460 per ldt on average.
Late last week Greek compatriot Lion Shipbrokers noted bulkers recycled in India are seeing levels of approximately $470 to $480 per ldt while tankers and containerships are enjoying premiums in excess of $500.
