MJLF says Kim, who spent nearly two decades with his previous employer, will be based in its Connecticut headquarters where he will serve as director of newbuildings and gas projects alongside David Lee and James Cho.
At Samsung, Kim managed the South Korean shipbuilding conglomerate’s New York office and specialised in overseeing deals involving the construction of LNG carriers, crude carriers, shuttle tankers and containerships.
