Denmark's Maersk Line has committed its first two containerships to a breakers' yard in India as part of its new plan for more environmentally friendly recycling there.
The 4,306-teu Maersk Wyoming (built 1996) and the Maersk Georgia (built 1997) will beach at Alang later this month.
