The company, a fully owned subsidiary of Laugfs Gas, acquired the 7,200-cbm Gas Dorado (built 2007) from Prime Marine Management.
The vessel will be renamed Gas Success under the Sri Lankan flag, it added.
TradeWinds reported the deal last month as part of the company’s drive towards finding long-term employment with a domestic energy company.
The new owner did not reveal the price at the time, but Mumbai sources indicated it paid around $7.5m
