KNOT Offshore Partners has put the finishing touches on a deal to buy a shuttle tanker from its parent.
The announcement by the New York-listed shipowner comes a month after it agreed to buy the 152,000-dwt Raquel Knutsen (built 2015) in a dropdown from Oslo-based Knudsen NYK Offshore Tankers (KNOT).
The acquisition price is net of about $104m in outstanding debt on the ship.
