Following its order for two 2,500-teu boxships in July, the LasseKristoffersen-led shipowner has booked a pair of bulkers, which at 82,000-dwt willbe the largest in its fleet.

Klaveness expects to take delivery of the kamsarmaxes in thesecond half of 2015, it said today in a statement adding that the contractincludes options for further vessels.

No price was revealed but brokers place a figure of around$27m on an 82,000-dwt bulker built at a Chinese shipyard.
