Great Eastern Shipping said it purchased a medium-range (MR) products tanker.
But the shipowner provided few details in an announcement with the National Stock Exchange of India.
The Mumbai company only said that the 48,500-dwt ship was built in Japan in 2005.
The vessel is to be delivered in the second quarter of the 2017 fiscal year, which is the third quarter of the calendar year.
