Grieg Green, part of Norway’s Grieg Shipping Group, organises and supervises scrapping deals with Chinese breakers and has an established relationship with Oslo based Hoegh Autoliners.
The 3,550 car capacity Hoegh Tropicana (built 1980) is the oldest vessel in the fleet and the latest of four PCCs to be scrapped in a deal with Grieg Green.
The price achieved for the Tsuneishi built ship has not been reported by Hoegh Autoliners.
