Hanjin Heavy Industries is remaining tight-lipped about the sale of a boxship newbuilding which was axed by a cash-strapped customer.
The South Korean builder announced on Tuesday that it has sold the unidentified vessel to “a third party” but was in no mood to divulge any more details.
A spokesperson for the yard merely repeated the brief regulatory filing when contacted by TradeWinds without naming the original company behind the order, the new owner or the size of the vessel concerned.
