Dimitris Theodorakis-led Swiss Marine has sent the 157,000-dwt bulker Aeolian Glory (built 1995) for demolition in Bangladesh, brokers and cash buyers say.
A price of $382 per ldt has been placed on the ship, which works out at just over $7.3m for the company.
Attempts to reach the Greek owner for confirmation on the disposal were unsuccessful this morning.
The Aeolian Glory was bought as Martha Verity in 2007 for $62m.
