Goldenport Holdings has confirmed the sale of the second of two modern supramax bulkers previously owned jointly with Glencore.
The London-listed company told investors late Friday that it had sold the 54,000-dwt bulker Ermis (built 2009) for $9.345m.
The Chinese-built supramax has already been delivered to her new owners, Marshall Islands-registered Denali Shipping LP.
Goldenport said the net sale proceeds will be applied towards the repayment of debt secured against the vessel.
