MariellaBottiglieri, one of the Italian shipowner’s managing directors, says the 40,166-dwtsisters Manuela, Mariella, Ghetty and Alessandra Bottiglieri(all built 2002) havenot gone to a buyer based in the UAE despite shipbroker reports to thecontrary.
In abrief exchange with TradeWinds she dismissed the claim as nothing morethan a market rumour and said all four tankers are still owned and commerciallyand technically managed by the Naples-based company, which also controls adozen bulkers.
