Sources claim Seacor Holdings has emerged victorious in the race to acquire the 125,000-dwt Kodiak(built 1978) from US compatriot SeaRiver Maritime.
The same individuals tell TradeWinds the transaction still appears to be on subjects but say they are confident that pen will meet paper by the end of this week.
Observers note Seacor also had its sights set on the 125,000-dwt Sierra
