The Singapore-headquartered owner lifted its newbuildingtally to eight vessels with the addition of two 11,000-cbm ships at Japan’s KyokuyoShipyard Corporation, it announced today without revealing pricing terms.
When delivered in 2016 the duo will eclipse the 7,200-cbmvessels in its owned fleet and the 7,500-cbm vessels in its chartered in fleet,according to its website.
Epic Gas, which recently rebranded itself from Epic PantheonInternational Gas Shipping, has been on the acquisition trail oflate, ordering all eight of its newbuildings this year.
