The cruiseship made famous by the 1970s Love Boat TV series has been sold for scrap.
The Maritime Matters website reported that the 600-passenger Pacific (ex Pacific Princess) went for EUR 2.5m ($3.28m) to Turkish shipbreaker Cemsan.
For two years the ship has been under arrest in Genoa, after it entered the port hoping to get an expensive makeover.
Its previous owner, Spanish cruise operator Quail Cruises, is said to have owed over $14m in unpaid debts to the San Giorgio del Porto shipyard, as well as to former owner CVC Tur of Brazil.
