The German shipowner sent the 3,604-teu Neddloyd America(built 1992) and 4,181-teu Maersk Miami (ex: Neddloyd Hong Kong, built 1994) together to the torch for$450 per ldt, according to shipbrokers and cash buyers.
That equates to $9.2m for the former and $10.7m for thelatter.
