Norwegian offshore owner Dof has cashed in one of its anchor handler newbuildings on order at STX Europe.
It has sold the 12,000-bhp Skandi Emerald to Vietsovpetro Joint Venture for $65m, a statement says.
Analysts say the price is considered firm in the present market. But the deal is still likely to turn a few heads as the vessel was fixed on a long-term contract with OGX in January.
