Rumours linking Diana Shipping with the purchase of three post-panamax bulkers owned by China’s Oriental Ocean Shipping Holdings (OOSCO) are unfounded.
Brokers have this week connected the Simeon Palios-led shipowner with the 93,000-dwt Welsuccess (built 2010), Welprofit and Welfine (both built 2011) at $17m for each.
Market sources say there is no truth in the suggestion Diana has picked up the trio.
