South Korean shipbuilder Daehan Shipbuilding Co has confirmed to TradeWinds that it is the recipient of Ship Finance International’s (SFI) order for two long-range 2 products tankers.
A Daehan executive told TradeWinds that the two 114,000-dwt tankers are scheduled for delivery from the third quarter of 2017.
According to the executive, the SFI orders bring the total tally of ships ordered at the yard in 2015 to 16, including options.
