The Hong Kong and Shanghai-listed wing of China Shippingwill dispose of five tankers and a pair of bulk carriers, it announced today.
The tankers are the 34,748-dwt Da Qing 71 (built 1995), 34,748-dwt Da Qing 72 (built 1994), 34,836-dwt Da Qing 73 (built 1995), 34,715-dwt Da Qing74 (1994) and 34,688-dwt Da Qing 75 (built 1995).
Chinese regulations dictate that all single-hull tankersmust be disposed of by 2015, CSDC said in a statement to the Shanghai StockExchange.
