Clipper of Denmark is keeping mum on reports it has snapped up a fleet of four handysize bulkers from compatriot Norden.
Copenhagen-quoted Norden reported on Wednesday that it had sold the 32,000-dwt Nord Hong Kong, Nord Houston, Nord London and Nord Vancouver (all built 2011).
Brokers say Frank Jensen’s Clipper has picked up the ships at $6.3m each.
Peter Norborg, chief executive of the Clipper Group, declined to comment on the rumour when contacted by TradeWinds today.
